On the Popular Mechanics website, there are extensive resources that de-bunk some conspiracy theories that many children have about the way the towers fell, or about how the towers were damaged. Particularly useful in science classes.

In teaching middle school, remember students were 3, 4 and 5 years old when this happened. Although they have lived the after mass of 9/11, they really do not remember the actual day.

I am looking for lesson plans for grades 7-12...to educate and honor the victims of 9/11. There are a lot out there, but I am looking for something that has been used by someone. Many of the kids I reach out to don't really understand 9/11..and I really want to make an impact this year. Thanks!
